Risks & Security

Security shapes how perpgame is built. The contracts are non-custodial — your funds live in on-chain vaults you transact against directly, never with perpgame holding your keys — and the team tests and reviews each part of the protocol as it ships.

The risk depends partly on the backing:

  • Leveraged-token baskets can move rapidly and depend on Bounce Tech, Hyperliquid markets, HyperEVM, LT pricing, minting, and redemption infrastructure.
  • Memecoin baskets can have extreme volatility, thin liquidity, transfer restrictions, or routes that become uneconomic.
  • Tokenized-equity baskets add issuer, oracle, market-hours, bridge, and tokenization risks; an on-chain token is not the same thing as directly owning a brokerage share.

All backing types also depend on smart contracts, RPC providers, stablecoins, wallet software, and their settlement chain. A bug, outage, exploit, depeg, paused token, or liquidity failure in any dependency can affect value or availability.

HyperEVM exits depend on on-chain LT redemption buffers. The instantly redeemable USDC amount can be lower than marked basket value; receiving LTs in kind transfers that redemption responsibility to you. Robinhood Chain exits depend on configured swap routes and available pool liquidity.

Rebalances temporarily gate trading while the treasury is in flight. HyperEVM redemptions may take time to settle before the remaining rebalance passes can continue.

Audits

The perpgame contracts have been independently reviewed. You can read the report here: https://perpgame.xyz/2026-06-perpGame.pdf

An audit lowers risk but never removes it — smart contracts can still contain bugs.
